Sheila has more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism. She has worked with three network affiliates (ABC, CBS and Fox) in various media markets as managing editor, producer, writer, reporter and anchor.
Sheila has conducted more than
10,000 interviews, reported on major national crises covering three decades and conducted hundreds of one-on-one interviews with heads of state, business and political leaders, entertainers and athletes.
During her TV tenure Hyland was consistently rated as one of the most credible and recognized figures in regional TV news and is the recipient
of numerous awards during
her reporting career.
Sheila lends her time and talents to several organizations and nonprofits as
a volunteer, speaker, and emcee. She continues to perform on-camera work and hosts both local, regional and national segments
of Comcast Newsmakers.
Ms. Hyland is a founding board member of Pittsburgh Children's Advocacy Center and a member of Pittsburgh Professional Women.
She is also operations manager for Luminari, a nonprofit summer enrichment program
for teenagers.
Judi has more than 20 years of experience as a communications officer for the Port Authority of Allegheny County.
She developed crisis communications and media relations strategies that were widely recognized and copied throughout the North American transit industry.
During her tenure, Judi served as a spokesperson and was interviewed daily on a variety of contentious
issues and crises.
Ms. McNeil served as PIO/Spokesperson for Allegheny County Executive
Dan Onorato.
Judi served on the Federal Transit Administration's Crisis communications task force in response to the 9-11 attacks and served on the city's G-20
communications team.
Judi is a former legislative aide for the Ohio House of Representatives.
Kirk Manson has over 27 years experience working in the local and national media. He began his career after completing his military service in the United States Air Force in 1989.
Kirk has had many career highlights some of which include covering everything from breaking news to major local and national stories. He has worked with Presidents, celebrities and major sports figures.
Kirk has also been involved covering major breaking news events including California and Oregon Wild fires on the west coast, Quecreek Mine Rescue, the sago mine disaster and the downing of flight 93 during the September
11th terrorist attacks.
Kirk’s outstanding work has been recognized numerous times through awards from the associated press, the Pennsylvania association of broadcasters, the Western PA press
club and he has been nominated individually for an Emmy by the national academy of arts and sciences Philadelphia regional chapter and was part of a production crew who received an Emmy award for outstanding production of the children’s
show SCIENTASTIC.
Kirk has recently worked for ABC’s 20/20, WORLD NEWS TONIGHT and Good Morning America. CBS This morning, MSNBC, the NFL Network, ESPN and many other national and local clients. Kirk has been involved with media training for more than 15 years and has been on staff with Foster Hyland for more than 10. It is rare for Kirk to say he hasn’t “seen that” while covering local and national news.
